Nationals finalize 25-man roster

The Nationals re-assigned right-handers Jordan Zimmermann and Jesus Colome and infielder Alex Cintron to Minor League camp and optioned right-handers Jason Bergmann and Garrett Mock to Triple-A Syracuse.

The club also selected the contracts of relievers Julian Tavarez and Wil Ledezma and catcher Josh Bard.     

With today's moves, the Nationals now have their 25-man roster set for Opening Day against the Marlins. Included on the roster are 11 pitchers (five left-handers, six right-handers), three catchers, six infielders and five outfielders.

Right-hander Terrell Young and infielders Anderson Hernandez and Dmitri Young will begin the season on the 15-day disabled list. Left-hander Matt Chico will begin the season on the 60-day disabled list.
