Beimel traded to Rockies for two Minor Leaguers
A baseball source has confirmed that Nationals left-hander Joe Beimel has been traded to the Rockies for two minor league pitchers. It’s not known who the Minor Leaguers are.
The Rockies have been after Beimel for weeks. The Nationals asked for infielder Eric Young Jr. in return, but the Rockies quickly said, “No thanks.”
Beimel had a 3.40 ERA in 45 games for the Nationals this season.

Now since the Trade Deadline is past the Nats now have the wild task of getting Scott Boras tied to a chair and get SS signed.
